Magnetic Paint Additive, Half Gallon Size

Simply mix this container with 2 quarts (1/2 gallon) of any ordinary white primer paint to cover 80 – 100 sq. ft. with 2 coats or 40 – 50 sq. ft. with 3 to 4 coats. Magnetic paint goes on white and covers easily with any color finish paint.

Very pleased!

I had put 2 coats of magnetic paint (from a big box store) on my wall but it didn't have much magnetic attraction. I purchased 1/2 gallon of Magically Magnetic paint additive and added it to 2 quarts of white primer. I had it shaken at the box store, but of the additive stuck to the sides and bottom of the gallon can I had it mixed in. I quickly scraped the sides and bottom of the can and stirred it well before use. I intended to apply 2-3 coats on top of the 2 coats of the "other" stuff, but I ended up adding coat after coat until it was all used up. I finished up with 2 coats of the Magically Magnetic on the whole wall, and 3 more coats on the main "art display" area. The main area has excellent attraction, and even the 2 coats all by themselves hold magnets! It cannot be overstated: mix, mix, mix! I added 1 top coat of Behr Premium Plus and it looks awesome!

I bought the half gallon mix for 80 sq ft with 2 coats. I taped out two areas, 40 sq ft total and put on 3 coats just to be safe. My daughter's art hangs beautifully on the 2 areas, supported by neodymium magnets. Am very happy with the product!
Great for magnetic blackboard

Mixed this with primer and painted a 4x6 section of wall with 5 coats. Then applied a chalkboard paint overtop. Now I have a nice magnetic blackboard. I also bought some of the magnets which are strong and work great.
